2018-2019 Recommended Playoff Dates

These are recommended dates for all Convenors

Convenors have the authority to change these dates with the approval of the executive committee as they are recommended dates

• 2018-2019 Regular season ends Monday Feb. 4, 2019.
• All rescheduled regular season games must be completed by no later than Monday Feb. 4, 2019.
• March Break is 12:01 A.M., Friday, March 8,  2019 to Sunday March 17, 2019 at 18:00
• Playoffs will resume on March 17,  2019 18:00.
• The League reserves the right to cancel March break at all levels

The following are recommended Guidelines for Convenors - these apply to all levels

(Convenors may change these dates with executive approval)

First Round           Feb. 4, 2019 – Feb. 18, 2019                    (15 days).

Second Round      Feb. 19, 2019 – Mar.  4, 2019                    (14 days).

Finals                    Mar. 5, 2019  – Mar. 31, 2019 (games to start before March Break)

Last day for playoffs - March 31, 2019

Teams placing first and second in the regular season will have a first-round Bye.

Teams 3 and 6 will play a quarterfinal, 5-point series, as will teams 4 and 5.

After the quarterfinals, the teams will be re-seeded based on regular season standings and the usual semifinal structure will prevail.

All teams will play a round-robin tournament, during the time allowed for quarter-finals and semi-finals in other divisions. The top two teams out of this tournament will advance and play a seven-point final series to decide the Playoff Champions.
